Mistress of Erotica
The Importance of Music

I love music.  I can be picky about the type of music I like in a certain setting.  For instance, if there is to much lyrics when I am wishing to have quality conversation with another person, it can be difficult to hear when the other person is saying when the room is flooded with someone else's lyrics.

That said, when I am looking to create a more intimate setting, I always play music with a smooth beat and zero to minimal lyrics.  I also feel that tempo is very important here.  I have found that Spa music is great for a Spa setting or more spa like experience.  But it's a bit mellow for a visit with a little more activity.

Since, I offer an array of sessions, mellow to very active(kink play), I needed to find several options for tempo on my music selection.  I have found that Electronica/Lounge Beats work wonderful for a soothing yet peppy background music.  Easy on the ears and easy to talk and play over but creates wonderful ambiance.

A few of my favorites in this realm are:

Thievery Corporation

La femme d'argent

Cirque du Soliel Radio

Now there is a time and place for lyrics.  For me, it's the gym or the trail.  I love a strong pick me up, heavy beat, we are going to jack some steel type of music. Air pods have been one of the great gifts that have come to me in this lifetime and that makes it possible to enjoy my custom playlists and not have to be subjected to awful gym music.  Needless to say, it's a rough day if I forget them, but that's few and far between.

Songs that inspire me to lift heavy:

Conquest – White Stripes

Boom – P.O.D.

Most anything by AC/DC

Billion Dollar Babies and others by – Alice Cooper

Not Afraid – Eminem

Remember the name – Fort Minor

Let it Rock Kevin Rudolf

Whishing Well – Blackfoot

Come with me now – Kongos

Start a Riot – Duckwrth

Ruckus – Konata Small

Anything by Ricky Desktop

We can't forget all the great kinky music that's out there.  Talk about creating or getting in the mood for playtime and some Fem Domme tunes.

A few of my favorites are:

I wanna be your slave – Maneskin

Beggin' Maneskin

Be Mean – DNCE

Body Moves – DNCE

Bad Girls – M.I.A.

Venus in Furs – Velvet Underground

Walk on the Wild Side – Lou Reed

These Boots were made for walking(all over you!) - Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazelwood

Mistress of the Dark – Ghoultown(This band is like if Charlie Daniels and Rob Zombie had a love child!)

Well, now that was fun, I am off to the Sauna to soak in some luxurious tunes!

Until next time,
